I see a third option. Shoot film for this project. If you've
got an extreme-wideable for the OM, use that. You can bracket
and throw away a lot of film for $1700. Use the E-1 with 11-22
for all of your "proofing", and just use the film camera to take
care of the extreme needs.
Another less expensive option is to get the DZ 8mm fisheye and
correct the distortion in post.
I have film and I'm NOT afraid of using it. :)
