I've read those same statements about a month ago, and tried to place an
order. When finalizing my address, the only countries I could choose from
were England, Northern Ireland, Chanel Islands and perhaps some other odds
and ends, but clearly British territory. That's the wrong side of the
channel from here out, so I canceled the order.

I must (or *may*, as one of the few) confess I am strictly film bound, and
therefore have no use for XD cards. The order I was referring to was for
film. They had an interesting stock of near-end-of-date Provia and (I
suspect the last ever batch of) Agfa slide film. All bargain prices.
The reason I haven't asked any UK-nian to play post office for me, is that I
actually don't trust a batch of film that is airmailed out of England. For
what I've heared, all post coming through Heathrow is X-rayed. Heavily.
