I assumed you provided accurate information about what he said. What
I read did not make me want to explore him further.

I can sort of distinguish between different kinds of energy because
of a fair amount of science in my education. To muddle it all
together in a New Agey way as solar strikes me as really sloppy
thinking. It is a reduction to absurdity argument. But I could be
wrong.

What struck me with his list, aside from the howler of getting solar
energy from my body, was that many of his conditions, as I pointed
out, were met by a new computer: smaller, more energy efficient, more
powerful, but he seemed to be unaware of that. There are computers
that you can crank for energy. The rest of it seemed like a someone
from the 19th century longing for some simpler past that has never
existed. And some of them were just silly like the need to be able to
repair anything he owned or just buying locally. I would have asked
what planet and time is he from, but I probably should not have
replied at all. Sorry.
