[OM] Profiling

Hi,

I just finished scanning the latest film, and I'm really fed up with
all the stress of getting the colors look _somewhat_ decent. I guess
I do need some profiles for my FS4000.

Now here's my question: Wolf Faust has DIN A4 sized reflective targets,
as well as special film targets. I mainly shoot Sensia, so the Sensia
slide would be OK, but could I not also take a picture of the sheet of
paper and use that slide/negative for profiling? In this way I could
also get a few CN films profiled. Or am I way off here?

Also, are there `neutral' profiling slides? Such that I can only
profile the scanner and keep the film characteristics?

Thanks,

Nils

PS: Does anyone of you have profiles for his FS4000 I could test? I
guess they should give better - although not perfect - results than
white balance or similar algorithms.

PPS: Anyone have a screen calibration spyder for sale for cheap? :)
