Just stopped working from one day to another. Turn on, no movement,
even when holding it against bright light. I could have had it
repaired, but I bought the OM-3 instead which was available at a good
price at that moment.
Frankly, my OM-4Ti has seen much more abuse than my OM-1, which I used
mainly for astrophoto (no light meter needed) and just a little bit of
general photography. Now, I'm of course not trying to say I dislike the
OM-1. I just like my OM-4Ti much better because of the metering system,
and I think it is extremely reliable too.
