I'm still here flopping back and forth between E-1, 7D and 20D. So I
was re-reading the dpreview article on the E-1 looking for those things
that either sparked or suppressed my interest.
One thing I had completely forgotten about was the report that one has
to switch into display mode to see a histogram or flashing overexposed
highlights. This was a really, really big negative for me and I'm
wondering if Oly has since fixed this oversight with a firmware upgrade.
I also spotted the favorable report on the autofocus assist light and
I'm reminded that no one responded to an actual usage question I posed
on this subject a week or so ago.
