It is possible to re-mount the TSE 24 such that tilt and shift are in the
same axis. Still not the same as the Hartblei, just a different restriction
which might suit you better.

Thanks for the heads up Scott.

I have tested the Hartblei lenses.  They are a good value (low price!).

But they are a notch below the Canon TSE lenses (45mm and 90mm) in terms of
sharpness.  The advantage of the Hartblei is that the tilt and shift are on
independent axes, while on the Canon's they tilt and shift are locked in 90
degree steps with each other.

Thanks for sharing your experience in this thread.  I noticed this listing
for a 'Hartblei 45mm Super Rotator' while looking for other things and
thought you might be interested:

Not particularly wide and I'm not sure it there's an adapter for the mount
but he does mention testing on a Canon 1Ds2, so . . .
