I've got a couple images to compare at 16x20, as Chuck N. posed a question
about the film Zuikos' ability to resolve well enough on a digital sensor
to compare well with a Zuiko digital lens.
I can't compare primes to primes, but I can compare the 14-54 ZD with my
50/3.5. The quick report is that the 50/3.5 works great and I thought
surpassed the 14-54, though the zoom is certainly amazing in close quarters.
I can also confirm Moose's recollection that the guide to "safe" stops with
the E-1 has to do with the range of stops that exposes more or less
correctly without special compensation. To use smaller stops I had to
provide + exposure compensation, which I will gladly do in the future, as
it is worth the time and trouble.
