Bob,
The Eveready 357's I use in my OM-4Ti typically last about year with
moderate usage (mileage may vary...yada, yada); give or take a few months
depending on how many long auto exposures I've done. I can't speak from
first hand experience, but I seem to recall other List members typically
getting 5-6 months from a set of Silver oxide batteries in the OM-4. Since a
set of two batteries costs about the price of a roll of film (even at
retail) this doesn't amount to much.

As a bit of an extension to this string is there someone out there who
can give some insight as to what the power efficiency difference is
between the OM3 and the OM 3Ti and the OM4 and the OM 4Ti. I understand
that the electronic upgrades to the Ti series cameras improved battery
life but by how much. 10%? 50%? Is this an issue of concern when
looking at these cameras? An OM3 is significantly less expensive than
and OM3Ti as has been clear in a number of emails recently.
