This is just so, so true.

It's like the people who buy a new car with £5000 depreciation when they drive 
it out of the showroom, and justify it on the basis that it does 2 more mpg 
than the old one. When you point out the fact they'd have to do about 10 
million miles to make up the cost, they go strangely quiet.

If you hunt around, you can buy good 10-packs of SR44 (silver) batteries for 
about £5.

Financially, the choice of 4T(i) over 4 is a complete and utter non-starter.
