Hi Boris,
I didn't actually focus on anything in particular. I routinely select 30th
second (winter light and a couple of stops lost for the filter) and get the
smallest aperture possible. In this shot I think it was f11 and I set the
lens at hyperfocal distance which, with the 21mm, gives depth of field from
about 2ft to the horizon.  As there is no dof mark on the 21mm for f11 I
usually set infinity at the  f8 mark which puts everything from 3 feet to
the horizon in focus.

You are right about the snowdrops. Thanks for looking.
