Hi Dean,

I've been pretty pleased with it so far. The only issue I've had (and I
believe somebody else experienced the same problem) is on the odd scan of
colour negative film, the colour rendition is WAY off and the resulting
scan is like somebody's nightmare. The subject has always been floral and
mainly when it is a red plant or flower against a green background (grass
etc.). No amount of playing with curves have been able to get close
(though it could just be me).

We are only talking about 3-5 scans out of about 70-80 scans which may or
may not be excessive depending on your point of view. The straight out of
the box 'Easy Scan' facility provides decent results although once I got
more familiar with it I found that the normal scanning procedure gives much
more control and functionality. For my level of use I'm happy with it and
it provides good 'bang for the buck'.

Only other thing is that I recently bought a Br*nica ETRSi kit and am now
lamenting not having a flatbed that would be able to do MF scans. Oh well.

Thanks for the comments on the pics.

Jason.
