Very inspiring, Mike. I have a few hundred of kilometers of beach and visit
them frequently, nonetheless never tried to explore them in close-up mode. I
do this so often without a camera...

Why isn't the sun shinning resulting in high contrast photos? Did you choose
an overcast day to avoid this?
