Hi all,
Recently I've not had so much time to read e-mails and got a bit behind
with reading the list. I've been accruing an enormous backlog of unread
mails which I was intending to catch up with at some point, but it's a
hopeless task so 4600 messages have just gone unread into the trash. I
feel terrible, I know there'll be some great info, anecdotes,
conversation, photos, bonhomie and general good photographic vibes in
there but it's the only way to get on top of things and start
corresponding again.
From skim-reading a few posts a while back I gather someone was under
the impression we had a socialist government here in the UK. How I wish
that was true :)
But anyway, hope all have been well over the last couple of months.
I've been taking quite a lot of photos and will scan and post as soon as
I can get my scanner to talk to Windows XP. I was very pleased with
what I got when the zuikoholics gathered at Stewartby a couple of months
ago, will get those online as soon as I can.

PS UK folks, can I recommend you watch University Challenge on BBC2
tomorrow evening at 8.30pm? I believe the University College London
team includes an astronomer who contributes to an impressive showing in
their match against Warwick...
