Hi Gord,

I noticed that too when I dealt with a Beattie screen, I marked it will
the tool they gave me instead of just handling it with my hugh thumb and
finger. I also got a 2-13 screen new and it had a tiny gob of plastic
that I tried to remove, unsuccessfully, it is only a slight aberration
so I am living with it because of the scarcity of the screens. Joe

Gord,

Thanks for that info, I had never heard they were softer, and that must
be
the reason that I only "damaged" one screen (a 2-series) out of all the
times
I've cleaned my screens. Glad to finally know that it wasn't anything
wrong
that i did, I merely handled it in the exact same way I've done it many
times
before and had no problems.
