The 11-22 is sharper than the 14-54, but ~2x as expensive.
The 14-54 is such a great lens that you have to buy it, especially at the kit
prices. Where else will you get equiv. 28-108mm range? If you constantly find
yourself needing something wider, like for street photos or events, then the
11-22 is your game. I really like mine, but it doesn't get as much use as the
workhorse 14-54.
OTOH, The 50-200 is superb. I wish it didn't grow so much as zoomed, but this
likely keeps the weight down. Highly recommended.
