Let's see, there was supposed to be some logic to this
group of cameras:
Oly- I figured digital's strength is normal to tele
and zooms, so I kept:
24/2 Kiron
24/2.8 Zuiko
28/2 Zuiko (my favorite)
50/1.4 >1.1M
50/1.8 MIJ
85/2 (other favorite, just couldn't get rid of it)
100/200/4 Vivitar only tele length I kept
When I was looking at getting a high end rf, I figured
that SLR's main advantage over rf is zoom lenses , so
I kept my 35-70/3.5-4.5 Zuiko and a Vivitar 70-150/3.8
I'd like to reduce what I keep to 3 or 4 lenses and
eventually sell the Kiron, 50/1.4 and the zooms.
Oly bodies
OM 1 MD black
OM 1n (3)
OM 2n (2)
OM G (2)
OM 2000 (just got yesterday- doesn't have the build
quality of the OM G's (even those non system cameras)
and is way loud - talked me out of a Bessa R2, which
is the same body.
I'll probably keep the OM G's - cheap fun - and either
the 1n or 2n (I can see the display of the 1n better
in dim light but like the auto/ manual option) The
2000 I don't know yet.
Rangefinders
Oly 35EC (just like the Rollei scale focus ;) but
automated, I have 3.
Minolta 7S II- great lens, small, auto or manual and
extremely quiet.
FED 2 (2) with 50/2.8, 50/3.5 collapsable, 50/2 and
85/2 LTM lenses the 85/2 is sharper than my Zuiko 85/2
?? The FEDs are the most fun of all my cameras, and
get the most attention from on lookers.
