Yes, I can see the bluish tone thru the OM-40 viewfinder. However, I don't
think the screen is to blame, but the semi-silvered mirror:

I've checked my OM-2S (another OM with semi-silvered mirror, plus 2-13
screen): the blue colour only shows from very awkward angles, and to a much
lesser extent: <http://217.216.177.119/etc/om2sb.jpeg>

blue, no matter the angle.
