Hi Bill:

That is exactly what I did, and just what I was thinking, but the seller
wanted me to pay to send it to his repair store choice in Calif., and then
he would maybe pay half and I would then pay for the return, or I could
accept a 24X read write CD! Neither acceptible to me. I last offered that
even $20.00 would be acceptible, to no response. I take it that you think
that that much play is not acceptable.
