PS This brings up another point. After looking through the viewfinder of the
Epic she also wanted to know why the viewfinder was so much brighter in the
Epic as compared to the Stylus 120. A good question since the lens has
nothing to do with the viewfinder image. Why couldn't Oly use the same light
channel as the Epic which is MUCH brighter than the one used in the Stylus
120? Is this just an example of "cheapening down" of another great little
camera?

I can second this in spades. I recently bought my wife an Oly Stylus
120 to replace her aging P&S (some of you may recall the "stinky" flash). We
were both taking photos over the Xmas festivities, her with the new camera
and me with my Oly Stylus Epic. She picked up the prints from both rolls and
immediately questioned why mine looked so much better. My pithy comment was
"Because you wanted a zoom". Thanks for listening...now I will return to the
doghouse.

That's sad. You started a great pitch. If they were to see how sharp the
Epic results are compared to "zooms" , they'd be
jealous..............atleast she didn't demand panorama.
