I quite like shooting small round targets.
I quite like eating 'humanely' killed meat.
I'm prepared to kill exotic pests, large and small,
Or even sadly cull doomed populations.
I've euthanased sick pets too
And killed food for myself
And eaten roadkill.

But killing for fun ('sport')?
I think not.
Killing should sicken us with regret,
Not exhilarate.
I'm with Larry on this one, intemperate though he be.

Ahhhh sometimes it only takes a small remark to get Larry to fart out one of
his bitter pills. For something to live something else must die. It's a
universal law of nature. Those who think hunting is so horrible, should
remember that when they bite into their juicy little hamburger they can only
do so because they have hired someone else to do the killing for them. Does
being one step removed from the act make you better than the hunter? I don't
think so. Vegetarians kill too. What difference does it make that plants
don't have blood? Larry sounds ready for Halloween.

Well, after exploding a few bullets into the flesh of animals that
personally
would have preferred to live, or not be in excruciating pain that day (But
they're not the boss of themselves, we are), he's probably happy that he's
now
killed far more animals, but sad he wasn't able to rip their flesh open with
more personal attention.

As long as we amuse ourselves. That's what's important.
