How do you set the 280F flash on an OM2n?
I tried it today in all settings but can't get it to fire.

Faster sync speeds help balance-out the back ground light and your
subject,
which is relative. Normally on a faster sync-speed, you use fill flash.

If you use a slower shutter speed, let's say 60th of a second with a
flash
and there's just enough ambient light in the gym or wherever, you get an
undesirable ghosting effect.

Is faster really better? Well it depends on what you're trying to do....
