Still not going to match the resolution of the scanner.  Good, but not as
good.  Even 2700dpi to 4000dpi is a huge difference and you're talking a
LOWER dpi.

Hmm, worth thinking about. I should probably rune some tests with the
C3030z of that approach and compare it with scanned slides. Thanks,
