I understand your frustration, but it sounds like they're being upfront and
honest that they messed up. They were a lot more successful than they
expected. Have you ever seen the TV ad where the people are standing around
the computer on the opening day of their webstore? There is a counter on the
screen for the number of sales and it starts jumping up by 10s and 20s and
they start cheering. Then it goes nuts and ends up at something like
300,000 and they have a look like deer in the headlights. More sucessful
than their infrastructure counted on.
As long as you get it and the condition is as promised, I'd leave them good
strong positive feedback and assume they'll learn from their mistake.
