Here in the NW corner of the US I'm told the lunar eclipse starts at
8:13pm Thursday which is well before local sunset so the moon should
rise already eclipsed. I'm going to try out my new cloud filter made for
photographing eclipses through 10,000' of nimbo stratus :>)
