I was wondering about such a possibility, because it feels tighter than just
"grit" and dry grease (at times - it's intermittent). I guess next time it
freezes up like this, I stop using it until I can get the full CLA. I know
you wouldn't appreciate receiving it as a bag of parts. :-) I kinda doubt
it's bent because it has its moments when it seems better, then worse. But
anything is possible. This body did arrive with a broken viewfinder lens
(not disclosed in the auction description...) which I managed to get replaced
here at Phototronics in Seattle (at first they said "No parts", then called
back to say "We can do it" - whew!). So it may have been dropped, drop
kicked, slammed, whatever, in a prior life.

I still have the 2n with the hanging mirror waiting for repair/CLA, so I have
a body for each of you guys to work on, if I can ever find another job in
this country.

I still have a new (to me) 1n and my original 1MD to keep me company when I
can send the others out. Total withdrawal would be unbearable (shudder).
