Hi all,

I just wants to say thanks for the hints on the Tech Pan film.

Today I bought a roll of Agfa Scala. The Tech Pan roll should arrive on
tuesday. I will seriously consider developing the Tech Pan film myself.
I will most likely use "KODAK TECHNIDOL Liquid developer" if so. At least
until I see its price tag.

One additional question. Kodak says "Load and unload your camera in total
darkness"in the Tech Pan instruction. Does this hold in practice?

I have heard that HIE (Kodak High Speed Infrared) will be ruined if
(un)loaded in subdued light. EIR (Kodak Ektachrome Infrared) carries
the same instruction and I have always (un)loaded in subdued without
problems.

Cheers,
Klaus

Oh, I just noticed the spelling error in the subject line. At least I are a
Engineer. :-)
