Yes, so did I.

As I remember it, you had to use a very slow B&W negative film, ASA25 Pan-X
possibly, to get as clear a backing film as possible, and a special set of
developing chemicals.  I presume that involved first (negative) developer, a
bleach, a second (positive) developer and a fix.  I don't recall whether
there was a chemical or light 'exposure' after the first developer.

I have not seen any developer kits for tens of years - but then I haven't
seen any E6 kits either (let alone Ferrania CR50) - but I suspect that there
is nothing unusual about the chemistry, which is likely to be available.
But as to cooking times...

OM content - economising on film and processing costs enabled me to buy into
OM in the first place.  Yes, I even used outdated film stock.

Back in the '70s, I know that I used to be able to make B&W slides from
normal negative film. I still have some of them somewhere. I wish I could
remember how I did it. Does anybody out there know a technique for this?
