That's a way good deal on the B-300. Those are quite popular with the
digicam crowd, which props the prices way up. I trust you -already- bought
it...!

The thing I'd do is check with Olympus (or John H.) to see if the front
element is still available... That's critical if you want the lens fixed.

If its really just coating wear, you might find that it would work OK as-is,
although with an 18, its hard to keep light sources out of the picture, so
flare could be a problem. I think even at $500 that's a pretty good price
for the 18/3.5 though.
