[OM] Fungus on Lens

Hi all,

I have a 50 mm lens with fungus on the inner elements. From reading the
archives it seems that "Pond's Cold Cream" and a de greaser is the way to
go. My problem is how do I dismantle the lens to get at the fungus?

I have searched my local tool shop for a suitable circelip type tool to
insert into the two very small holes in the front retaining ring but no
luck. None of them have the necessary span. Dies the retaining ring tighten
in a clockwise or counter clockwise direction?

I'm assuming that there are specialised tools to dismantle a lens but where
do I get them? Any cheaper workarounds?

Are exploded views of the inner workings of Zuiko lens available and if so
where?

Thanks in anticipation,

Tom Murphy
