I have often wondered about a time when all film has been removed from
the earth in favor of telepathic projection, what lenses and/or bodies
would I keep that demonstrate the true genius of the OM system. This
comes partly from the recent discussion on "perfect" kits, and what-not,
but what equipment did Olympus design that you feel truly represent the
system (i.e. small, light weight, easy to use, etc.)?

Of course the original OM1 and OM2 which started it all, and the
small lenses with 49 mm filter ring designed to match the body. That
was the genius that revolutionized the SLR. The super, "show-off"
lenses like the 24 shift, 100/2, 90/2, 50/2 , 35-80/2.8 were
wonderful in showing Olympus was a major player, but it was the small
size and excellent photographic ergonomics that was the genius.
