welcome to the list from a Milan living list member.
I was in vacation for the last two weeks, so it took me a while to
scan/read the 1300 mails.
I found that italian prices for used Oly gear are high when compared to US
ones, and for OM4-T(i) in particular, the champagne version in priced
higher that the black one, that is strange because the black is newer.
Having said that, I know what you mean about see and inspect the item you
want to buy, but I found that now is very difficult here to find Oly gear
(in Milan there is only a shop that sells regularly OM equipment), so my
last addictions come from outside. With care I found very nice things from
e*uy, mainly from US, and the only problems are payment method/shipment
cost/duty, and from a shop in the Netherlands (Wide Angle), and in this
case no problem for duty. I never bought from a list member, but this
should be another great option.
The list contains some lenses (50/3.5 macro, a 85/2, etc), flashes, winder,
some minor stuff and two camera: an OM20 for my wife, and a OM-4T for about
400 euro all expenses included.
