Boy, tough crowd.
Honestly, that was the dream I woke up to Saturday morning. I
did have an aweful day at work Friday--maybe that had something
to do with it. You wouldn't believe the scary details that I
left out.
While on vacation, a supplemental DSL equipment budget went from
1.2 million to 600k and we accidently disconnected a few hundred
internet accounts. Oh, and did I mention that we have a couple
thousand unbilled accounts that we are paying for? And then the
new contract for hosting services came through and our port
costs are going up 300% while the per subscriber cost only went
down 70 cents. So I have a couple of days to put together a new
bid spec and also figure out how much it would cost to "roll our
own" for 40,000-50,000 subscribers...
And THAT, folks, ain't no dream.
