I've had both. Still have the 28-80. It's a good lens, probably my most used. 
It has far better flare
resistance than the OM 35-70 f/4 and f/3.5-4.5 zooms. It is a lot bigger than 
the f/4, and a LOT
heavier, since it's mainly metal, while the 35-70/4 is mostly plastic.

Good condition...without mount. Price £69 / $100. It seems a good buy BUT I 
have far too many lenses already :->  Not much bigger than Olympus 35-70 f4 but 
uses 67?mm filters. But it does have Macro facility.
