Nicely put. I don't think that it's a pity that you felt that you
had to respond... often there are comments on this List about people
who don't read it, so well done. The disparagers probably aren't
envious, but it may well be that they don't understand. I am almost
constantly in denial of my love of well-made gadgets, but well done
to you for admitting it :>).
By the way, I don't know what the final price was... but that's not important.
