I wouldn't worry about the pepper unless you've specifically
fought this. If you have an award-winning, $25,000 repeat sale
photograph, you can always have it drum-scanned, so it's a moot
point.
Caribbean? Velvia and Provia territory. Or better yet,
Kodachrome 64. The grain is more apparent with the Agfachrome
RSX films, but the latitude is spectacular. Shadow detail is
far superior to any other slide film. Oranges/reds/yellows are
a bit muffy though.
