Hey Clint

Short of moving south, What would be the best way to isolate the problem
part. I was doing more testing (in a 68 degree room) all problems
disappeared. The teleconverter works (at 68 degrees) with my 200, 300, 400,
and 600. It was the 600 and teleconverter that did not work in the cold. I
haven't tested the others in the cold, guess I'll try those in the morning.

Cheers!

1. Too much resistance to the camera's mechanism due to the
teleconverter.
2. Too much resistance to the camera's mechanism due to cold lubricants
in
the camera, lens and/or teleconverter.

In other words, if it happens again in warm weather, dump the
teleconverter. If it happens again in cold weather, move south.
