I found a short shutter time lag (~60ms) like the OM1,2,3,4 is very
important for hand held macro where you move your body to focus, once
the point is reach you need an shutter release immediately otherwise
the focus could be off. It is very important even for portrait (I know
you shoot a lot), sometime the best eye contact only last for fraction
of a seconds. If you are used to a slower OM2s (around 150ms) it is
also fine, time lag compensation will be automatically made. but if
you always mix in using with other OMs, you will get confused by the
different time lags. Time lag is ignored by many photography but it is
a critical parameter to me so AF is not for me.
