Good idea. A further development of the idea - how would people here feel
about becoming "agents" ....

We have people on this list from most corners of the globe / most states in
the US. Before getting on that plane, we could send our undeveloped films
to the local OM List "agent", along with a cheque to cover costs. Said
agent could then get them developed at his recommended lab and post the
results on to us.

Just a thought for when we're in a hurry and can't get the film to a lab,
and wait for the results before leaving.

Before I volunteer, I'm going to need to know of a good lab in the South
East of the UK, though !!

Hello fellow Zuiks,

It crosses my mind that as a group we need a fall-back position to take good
care of exposed film when there is a danger that over-zealous airport people
will insist on ruining your precious cargo.

What I suggest is that we build up a list of competent and trusted photo-
processors around the world and in states, that we can take our un-
developed film to for processing followed by postage home or pick-up prior
to
flying out..

I'll start the ball rolling by naming:-

1) Kodak Melbourne Australia for first-class processing of Kodachrome for
Australian and New Zealand clients.

2) Viko in Auckland NZ (agents all over NZ) for good print developing and
printing. (I have no recent experience, so others might care to comment)

3) PhotoCorp in Christchurch NZ for MF and larger E6 transparencies.
Maybe they do 35mm as well. I send through my photolab.

What do you think?

This would be a good resource to have on the web. Maybe I could host it.

Brian
