Allan,
It is really not a bad lens at all and it winds up in my camera bag very
often. Below are two photos that I shot with the 75-150/4 wide open and full
zoom (150mm/f4) from a moving boat. The artifacts are from my scanner that I
have not cleaned up yet. Under more controlled conditions, they would be
even better.
