This is EXACTLY the message I'm getting from my Afghan students. I suspect
that the White House is already well aware of all these problems but cannot
address them publicly until the general and understandable demand for
revenge softens with time. This will happen as more reasoned discussion
appears in the media and people begin to consider the real consequences of
precipitate action.
