My youngest had a close encounter of the deer kind about a year ago.
Driving to his girlfriend's house, and struck one that was leaping across a
very busy four lane arterial (South Bellevue/Factoria area of the greater
Seattle Metropolitan area). Unfortunately, the deer didn't survive, nor did
the front of Jr's car. Had liability only (priced even that coverage for an
under 21 single male driver lately?), so the repairs were out of my/his
pocket. Ouch, but the car was repairable as opposed to the deer.

So what's the best way of photographing deer post road-traffic-accident?!!
Is this suitable for a competition?
Title...Oh, deer R.T.A.!!

Sounds to me like 'management' of the deer isn't working too well. Time to
introduce some big carnivores again...now there's a good photo opportunity!

In UK dead deer aren't too common (even in Scotland)...we specialise in
hedgehogs (although these are less common recently), badgers and pheasants.
We seem to do quite well also for human RTAs.
