Go with the 18. It is unique because of the perfect rectiliniarity of
the image across the frame.  I use it mostly for interior shots, but
with skill it can be used in other situations.

The real purpose of my question is to decide whether to go for the 16 
or 18 when the disease/addiciton hits again... ;-).
