While on a recent trip, a handful of shots on only one
roll had this curious what looks like a light leak to
me - - always on the bottom of the picture. This one
is one of the worst, some are smaller, but always with
the similar pointed shape(s). The camera is an OM-1
MD. Film is E200 Ektachrome. Anyone with any idea of
what caused it?

Its not a missing MD cap as someone suggested.. the leak is occurring at the bottom of the picture which would correspond to the top of the camera back. Remember that the image of a scene is focussed upside down and wrong way round when looked at from the back. It would therefore correspond most likely to a light leak through the foam seal.
