I might have been misunderstood about what I want to
get for this lens. I am getting this lens new from B&H
with all the trimmings (case, caps, and 1 yr warranty)
what I am looking for is a product that I can clamp
over the existing lens hood that will act as a filter
holder so I can protect the front element without
having to have the front lens cap on all the time.
Without a filter holder with a front filter I think
I'm going to have to focus using an exising 28 2.8
lens I have then only briefly taking the shift out to
get the actual picture, or something like that, unless
someone knows of some product somewhere that acts as a
clamp on filter holder. I dont know Maybe a 5" filter
held on with duct tape :)
