I doubt this is an error. The manual clearly states that this is a general
definition, which has "quite a bit of overlapping". Furthermore, the simple
fact that the full range of OM gear may not cover the 16X - 30X
magnifications, does not mean that this range falls out of the macro range.
One of the things explicitely mentioned in the manual, is that the range of
macrophotography depends mainly on the way the picture is taken (i.e. with
what type of gear), rather than purely the amount of magnification.

For me, I assume that there's a gray area in the definitions, which would be
what Olymous refers to as "quite a bit of overlapping"...

PS: Is it true that the PMT-35 bellows is longer than the regular one??? I
wasn't aware of that...
