The "feel" of the lens varies by the particular model...in general I have
found the Tamron "SP" , the Tokina "ATX", and the Vivitar "Series 1" series
to be quite good.....lots of other good lenses around....I have an old
Vivitar 75-205 MC with fungus and heavy cleaning marks that is actually
quite good (my "take it to the beach" lens).....it is quite similar in feel
and look to the Zuiko 65-200. The Tokina ATX 28-85 3.5-4.5 is excellent
(and maybe outstanding).... it's 2-touch with close-focus and fairly
compact.
