[OM] Vivitar 800mm telephoto

Does anyone know anything about a Vivitar 800mm f/8 (not the "cat" mirror
lens).  I got one of these monsters and I've been impressed with the results
I've been able to get so far.  However, I haven't been able to find any
information on this lens.  It comes in two pieces which are screwed
together.
