Well, now.... I didn't say no potty breaks etc. I just confirmed that I had
heard the same thing about 48 hour shifts while in London. Now, it may very
well be folklore, but the story is well traveled. I wouldn't read too much
into it.

I know paid firemen that work 48 hour shifts too, but they sleep etcetera
during the shift. They do not complete the shift with any pomp or
circumstance....
