: But, no manual. Went to Han's site, but no manuals there.

Maybe I'll scan it in the future.

: Went to Greg's
: site, no manual for IS-3 there either.

Do you mean Graigcamera http://www.craigcamera.com/ib_olympus.htm ?

The iS-3 DLX is right there. Of course, Olympus will provide it for free...

: Anyone give me a little more info than me just guessing?

What exactly do you want to know?

A very short primer:

Switch on the camera (switch on the left side).
By pressing and holding the Mode button you can cycle through the various
exposure modes by using one of the two shift buttons (at the back and round the
shutter release).
In Aperture Priority Mode (A) you select the aperture with the rear shift
button.
In Shutter Priority Mode (S) you select the shutter speed with the front shift
button.
In Manual Mode (M) you use both shift buttons to select aperture and shutter
speed.
In the various Program Modes (P) the camera selects both aperture and shutter
speed.
The small button left to the hot shoe is the spot button.
The +- button is for exposure compensation.
The drive button is for single/continous drive.
The flash button is for Auto/Auto-S (red eye)/Fill In selection. Fill in only
works in full program (P), not in the Theme Programs is A/S/M.
The +- button, Drive button and Flash button are used together with one of the
shift buttons to do the selections.
The zoom is operated with the large buttons on the lens.
The small buttons on the lens are for macro and Power Focus.
The flash is raised with the button on the left side near the flash cap.
The back is opened with the switch on the right side. Pull the film to the red
line; it is transported automatically after closing the back. Film speed is
DX-read and can only be overruled with exposure compensation.
The two Lithium CR123A cells go in the bottom.
